A family tradition.
A lifelong passion.
My name is Dario, and sauna has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. In fact, my first visit was before I learned to walk.
Iwas born in Europe, where sauna traditions run deep. In our family, every weekend meant sauna time—a chance to slow down, enjoy a few sessions together, and finish with a delicious barbecue. Those evenings gave me some of my happiest memories: good food, laughter, and time with the people I love.
That tradition is still part of our family today. It is also the inspiration behind Ether.
Good food, laughter, and time with the people I love.
From a personal passion to Ether
When I moved to Santa Barbara with my family, I brought that love of sauna with me. Ether grew from a simple wish: to share the experience I grew up with and help others create their own traditions around it.
For me, the beauty of sauna lies in making time.
- Time to leave the day behind.
- Time to reconnect with yourself.
- Time to sit beside someone you love without needing to be anywhere else.
That is the feeling I want Ether to bring into your home.
Your space.
Your ritual.
Every sanctuary begins differently. You might start with a sauna kit you assemble yourself, choose a luxury model for your backyard, or commission a custom sauna shaped around your space and vision.
Ether brings these possibilities together, with options for different budgets and ambitions, and the same care for natural materials, thoughtful design, and the experience inside.
Our purpose is to help you find a sauna that feels like yours—and a ritual you look forward to returning to.
The sauna is only the beginning
The details surrounding a sauna session matter, too: the scent, the textures, and the comfort of what you wear before and afterward.
As Ether grows, we plan to introduce a collection dedicated to these moments.
- Essential oil blends — formulated especially for sauna
- Natural herbal scrubs
- Apparel — made from natural wool and 100% organic cotton
Each addition will be chosen to help you create a personal sanctuary and make the ritual your own.
